Bring a picnic rug, invite family and friends and get into the festive spirit at the Lara Carols on Sunday December 17, 2017.

Held on the grounds of Lara’s iconic Pirra Homestead, the Lara Carols has been running for more than 10 years and is a popular family event on the community calendar each Christmas.

The Lara Carols is a free event, presented by the Combined Churches of Lara and sponsored by Bisinella Developments, the Lara District Community Bank® and Clockwork Video Productions.

The main entertainment, featuring performances from the Lara Community Choir and soloists, will start at 8.30pm. Gates will open from 6.30pm.

Pre-show entertainment includes a performance by local singer/guitarist Perri Jordan. Students from Lara’s new dance company, Dance Move Create will also perform on the night and people can also get their picture taken before the carols at the live nativity.

The Lions Club of Lara will hold a sausage sizzle, with drinks, kindly donated by Coles, for sale plus candles and glowstix. Proceeds raised will assist the running of the event. Ice cream and coffee are also available.
