Bisinella scholarships target future leaders of Lara and the northern suburbs

Do you live in Lara or the northern suburbs and are interested in becoming a leader of your community.

Bisinella Developments, one of the region’s largest land development companies, has committed to sponsoring eight scholarship places in 2018 for the Committee for Geelong’s (CfG) Activate leadership program.

Activate is an eight week foundational leadership program that targets emerging regional leaders and encourages the exploration and development of leadership potential for personal, professional and community benefit.

This is the second year Bisinella will provide Activate scholarship places, initially offered only to the residents of Lara. However, due to last year’s success, it will also be offered to residents from the northern suburbs of Geelong.

Residents of Lara who are interested in developing their skills are encouraged to apply - with confidence, courage and adapting to change just some of the skills gained by local recipients of last year’s scholarships.

There will be two Activate programs this year, May 3 to June 21 and July 26 to September 13.

Lara actress and performer, Lisa Emanuel, completed Activate in 2017.

“If you have a genuine interest in adding value to your workplace, community and family through leadership then this program is for you,” she said.
Scholarship applications close April 17 2018.
