Director Gill Mexted, began working with the Bisinella family 30 years ago. The long-standing relationship has seen Mexted join forces with Bisinella Developments to supply quality landscape architecture on hundreds of projects.
“Bisinella’s family orientated values closely align to how Mexted Rimmer operates, which is why we continually choose to work with them,” Gill explains.
“The best recipe to effective business relationships is when both companies share a strategic vision. This has proven to be the case with our dealings with Bisinella time and time again because we share the same vision of creating quality urban residential developments for the Geelong community.”
Over the years, there has been two significant achievements the companies have celebrated together.
In 2015 Bisinella’s Grand Lakes Estate was judged best residential estate and won the award for environmental excellence at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Victoria awards - a first for the Geelong region in the 20-year awards’ 20-year history.
The following year, Grand Lakes Estate beat some of the nation’s biggest development companies to receive UDIA’s national award for environmental excellence.
In 2022, Bisinella Developments’ prized waterfront development, Baywater Estate, won the Residential Development award at the UDIA Victoria’s Awards for Excellence.
Mexted Rimmer played a key role in both projects and was responsible for providing the landscape architectural services from site planning, design, and implementation.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and vision of the entire project team responsible for creating these vibrant communities,” Gill said.
“Bisinella provided us the opportunity to get involved from the initial planning phase right through to detailed design.
“We appreciate the creative license and trust Bisinella gave us with our design selections,” he adds.
With plenty of projects and opportunities in the pipeline, Gill said he looks forward to continuing the relationship with Bisinella and embarking on a third generation of partnership with the company.
