Land in the first stage of Lara Lakes Estate – Bisinella Developments’ new 520-lot residential estate – has just been released.
Land in Stage 1A of Lara Lakes Estate will includes 26 lots, starting from $287,000.
Lara Lakes Estate is located in the Lara West Development Precinct, on the south west of the corner of Windermere Road and O'Hallorans Road, Lara.
Titles for the first stage are expected in December 2021. Land in the residential estate will range in size from approximately 350m2 to 750m2.
Lara Lakes Estate will feature almost 6.7 hectares of waterways and parkland and 75 lake/park frontage lots. There will also be land set aside for a future primary school and community centre.
Bisinella Director, Richard Bisinella, said he was excited to announce the release of land in Stage 1A of the new estate.
“Lara Lakes Estate will be modelled on nearby Grand Lakes Estate which was built round a stunning 18-hectare expanse of lakes, wetlands and parkland laced by a network of boardwalks and walking and cycling trails,” he said,
Grand Lakes Estate was completed in 2015. That year, the estate was judged the best residential estate and also won the award for environmental excellence at the Urban
Development Institute of Australia’s (UDIA) Victoria awards. This was a first for the Geelong region in the 20-year history of the awards.
The following year, Grand Lakes Estate beat some of the biggest development companies in Australia to receive UDIA’s national award for environmental excellence.
Mr Bisinella said Grand Lakes Estate was now a “vibrant community and home to more than 2000 residents. Lara Lakes Estate, which will be similar in concept and design to Grand Lakes Estate, will build on that success”.
When completed the Lara West Development Precinct is expected to be a thriving sustainable community, home to approximately 10,000 people.
Lara Lakes Estate will border the existing Lara township, providing views to the You Yangs. The site is also located close to a wide range of established local services and amenities, including shopping, dining, school, pre-school, health, sport and recreation.
The fully-serviced lots will include high-speed Opticomm broadband, Colorbond fencing, crossovers and laybacks. Buyers will also be eligible for a $1000 solar rebate (subject to terms and conditions).
