Leading Geelong land developer Bisinella Developments has renewed their sponsorship of the Lara Wildcats Baseball Club for the upcoming season, marking seven years of supporting the local team.
The funding is a major boost for the club and its long-term growth potential, as it completes ground refurbishments and prioritises recruitment ahead of the 2025 season.
“This deal is a huge achievement for the club, and we are thankful for Bisinella’s continued support,” Lara Wildcats Baseball Club President Jarrod Fraim said.
“It has been an exciting time for the Lara Wildcats Baseball Club over the past 12 months, with the launch of a women’s team and the construction of new facilities.
“Both of these initiatives wouldn’t have been possible without Bisinella Development’s continued support.”
The sponsorship funding will primarily be used to construct a home run fence at the club’s new grounds and bolster equipment supplies.
The club currently has about 75 junior and senior members, but Jarrod hopes the new facilities will garner further interest.
“Our goal is to grow the sport and make baseball more prevalent in Lara, and Bisinella plays a significant role in enabling us to do this,” Jarrod said.
Bisinella’s Managing Director Richard Bisinella echoed Jarrod’s sentiment, stressing the importance of community sport in promoting healthy and active lives.
“We are extremely proud to be sponsoring the Wildcats for another season,” Richard said.
“We firmly believe in supporting the local community and encouraging kids to play sport, and this sponsorship is an important tool in contributing to the growth of the local Wildcats team.
“We wish the Wildcats a very successful season.”
Bisinella provides financial sponsorship to a range of clubs and organisations across the Geelong region.
