Bisinella Developments is pleased to unveil its newly completed playground at the Wattle Grove Estate in the northern Geelong suburb of Corio.
Nestled within this sold-out estate, an expansive 4000m2 park takes centre stage, with the wooden playground seamlessly blending into the natural surroundings.
To keep the young ones entertained, the playground has been built with two slides, swings, climbing structures, a stand-on spinner, tunnel, and sliding pole, while the adjacent nature play area lets their imaginations run wild.
The seamless blending of the park with nature reflects the country feel of the 102-lot estate, which is bookended by wetlands while being a short drive to the You Yangs Regional Park.
Bisinella Director Richard Bisinella explains the Company enlisted landscape architects Mexted Rimmer to help design and create the park and playground, with local Geelong-based Auscapes also contracted to help bring the final design to fruition.
“We have a long-standing relationship with both Mexted Rimmer and Auscapes, with both companies heavily involved in the landscaping of a number of our award-winning estates in the Geelong area,” he adds.
“Wattle Grove is sold out, but that’s not the end of our work. We don’t just develop estates, we pride ourselves on building communities. The playground provides a gathering place for families and the community, fostering social interactions, promoting physical activity, or providing a safe and engaging space for children.”
The newly completed playground is an integral part of the Wattle Grove Estate, which offers a country feel, while being well connected to the city lifestyle, located just a short 10-minute drive from the Geelong CBD. The estate also offers easy access to the surf coast and Bellarine Peninsula, as well as connectivity to Melbourne, while the expansive You Yangs Regional Park is just minutes away.
