Construction of Apple Gum estate in Lara has commenced, with lots estimated to title in January 2021.
Land in the 28-lot estate is now selling from $275,000. Lots range in size from 350m2 to 960m2.
There will be two stages in the residential estate located off Manzeene Avenue.
Stage 1 will have 16 lots and Stage 2 will include 12 lots. Land in both stages is available now.
Bisinella Director Richard Bisinella said construction was originally planned to start in August, with lots estimated to be titled in March 2021.
“I am pleased to announce we have been able to bring these dates forward. This is a consequence of improvements with Council’s processing of construction drawings, which is being led by the State Government’s focus on facilitating economic development during this critical time.”
“We really appreciate Council’s improved efficiency in processing engineering construction drawings approvals,” he said.
“We understand Council staff are working from home. Their support so that we could start construction earlier and create economic growth in the region is a credit to them.”
Mr Bisinella said it was good news for the local construction industry with workers from Wellam Constructions able to get out on site earlier.
“Purchasers are also pleased as this will enable them to start building their homes earlier than expected.”
Apple Gum estate is located a short drive from Lara Train Station and Lara Village Shopping Centre.
