Finding land in Geelong that was family friendly, a short distance from nearby attractions and in proximity to the Melbourne CBD were key motivators for Megan and her husband in their search for a new home site.

Luckily, they found land that ticked all three boxes with Bisinella Developments.

The couple purchased their first lot in national award winning Grand Lakes Estate in 2010, a vibrant community that is home to more than 2,000 residents.

Skip forward to 2013 and the couple had become attached to the area, thanks to its variety of modern amenities such as recreation and community centres, walking and cycling trails, shopping centres and schools. So when it was time to upgrade to their second home, Megan and her husband decided to stay in Grand Lakes Estate.

Megan explained the quality of estate design, layout and additional features were hard to beat.

“We felt really confident staying in the same estate, knowing we were in good hands,” Megan said.

Fast forward a few more years and the couple started their own family, which once again meant upgrading to a bigger block to accommodate the growing family.

With land now limited in Grand Lakes Estate, Megan says the natural choice was to look at another Bisinella Developments release - and Lara Central Estate.

So in 2015, the couple made the move to their third home in Lara Central Estate.

Megan said the estate was family-friendly and anyone with children would find it very suitable.

“We love the location, being so close to the shops and a short distance away from The You Yangs, which has spectacular walking tracks for the kids,” Megan said.

Megan added that the couple is very happy and comfortable living in Lara Central Estate and they have no plans to move in the near future.

“We are very close to the school and the kids love the local community playgrounds,” Megan said.

In addition, Megan said Lara Central Estate has easy access to some of Victoria’s best beaches and nearby regional towns.

“We feel very lucky to be in an area which is so well maintained,” Megan said.

“Bisinella provided us with extensive support throughout each of our builds, which streamlined the whole process.”
