For New Zealand natives Mavic and her family, it was the peaceful setting of Lara Lakes Estate that attracted them to the region.
After relocating from New Zealand, they were looking for their dream home in a desirable location that offered coastal living but was in close proximity to Melbourne and Geelong CBD.
Additionally, they were hoping to find a more affordable location to settle in that had a close-knit community atmosphere and convenient transport links to local schools and city centres.

Mavic said the entire process – from their initial appointment with the Bisinella team, to the construction of their house and the handover of the keys – was seamless and gave them confidence in their decision to buy in Lara Lakes.
“The Bisinella staff were really helpful and guided us through the entire purchasing and building process which we really appreciated,” she said.
“We had very specific requirements for our lot that Bisinella was able to accommodate.
“We’re so grateful for their guidance and support which have led to the building of our dream home.”
Mavic explained that importantly during the building phase, construction company Carlisle Homes ensured they were kept up to date at each stage of the build.
“We were extremely impressed by their speedy responses and exceptional customer service,” she said.
“They encouraged site visits which meant we were able to witness the progress which was very exciting.
“Watching our house come to life was a really good feeling.”
Having now lived in their dream home for a month, Mavic said they feel very settled and have started building a network of friends within the community.
“The support from our neighbours has been incredible – everyone looks out for each other which is amazing,” she said.
“The decision to buy in Lara was by far one of the best decisions we’ve made, and we look forward to creating our life here.”
Lara Lakes Estate has 42 titles lots left with sizes ranging from 344m2 to 728m2 and priced from $355,000.
