Bisinella Developments has today hosted Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Member for Corio Hon Richard Marles MP at its new industrial factory site in Geelong, set to generate 100 local jobs.
Once complete, the factory will provide a high-quality, large industrial space for a local logistics company, spanning a total of more than 3,600m2.
Visiting the site with Local Member for Lara Ella George MP, Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles said this is an exciting day for Geelong as it continues to expand its infrastructure footprint and grow offerings to local businesses.
“The growth of local businesses like Bisinella is so important for our region. This development will offer them the space and support they need, generating over a hundred local jobs – with more room to grow.
“Geelong’s north has a proud history of manufacturing, and it is fantastic to see projects like this ensuring it remains a part of our region’s future.”
Bisinella Developments CEO Richard Bisinella said he was honoured to show the Deputy Prime Minister the new development, which is creating jobs and opportunities for Geelong.
“It was fantastic to have Deputy Prime Minister Marles and the Local Member for Lara at the Bisinella Industrial Estate to see the new industrial factory site,” Mr Bisinella said.
“This warehouse reinforces our commitment to and confidence in the local manufacturing and logistics sector, with the warehouse design tailored to suit a local business in the industry.
“Construction is well underway, and we look forward to handing over the keys for this new industrial space when construction is completed.”
Mr Bisinella said the development adds to more than 110,000m2 of warehouse space that the company already owns, leases and manages in the Geelong area.
