Hundreds of people laced up their sneakers at Lara’s iconic Pirra Homestead late last month for the Lara Fun Run/Walk.
Approximately 600 people took part in the charity event on October 28, running and walking their way through Serendip Sanctuary while raising thousands of dollars for local charities.
The annual event started and finished in the gardens of Bisinella Developments’ beautiful Pirra Homestead. The course took entrants along roads that are normally off limits to the general public.
The Lara Fun Run/Walk has been running for nine years. Bisinella Developments have donated use of Pirra Homestead for the past eight events.
The family-focused event included a 10km run, 5km run/walk and a 1.5km kids’ dash.
