The latest addition to Bisinella Development’s Lara Lakes Estate has opened, with approximately 3 hectares of parkland now available to residents in the luxurious residential suburb of Lara, Victoria.
The landscaped park showcases the natural beauty of the region and includes a playground, a 94-metre boardwalk connecting the different sections of the Estate and a variety of walking trails.
For families looking to invest in Lara Lakes Estate, the local playground, complete with swings, a slide, and climbing frame, provides a safe and secure community environment, close to home.
A prominent piece of artwork, created by local Geelong artists Glenn Romanis and Mark Trinham, also features in the parklands at the entrance of the boardwalk.
The sculpture depicts a bird native to Lara, the Black Kite, and expresses the local geography through etchings of local Indigenous grasses and paint representing historical volcanic activity.
Scattered around the parkland are elegant seats, allowing residents a place to sit and take a moment while watching the natural wildlife and landscape of the local wetlands.
Bisinella Developments Chief Financial Officer Steven O’Neill describes the aesthetic of the parkland as a native backyard for surrounding homes.
“The natural beauty of the wetlands was vital to the design of this parkland, as the water and greenery weaves through Lara Lakes Estate,” Mr O’Neill explains.
“The inclusion of the playground was also essential, as this estate develops into a family orientated community, with a proposed primary school earmarked for land adjacent to Lara Lakes.”
Mr O’Neill said Bisinella was pleased to open Stage 1 of this new parkland which will be enjoyed by future buyers in the Lara Lakes Estate and local residents.
“I also commend the team at landscape architecture firm Mexted Rimmer and construction team Ausscapes for their impeccable work in completing this project which will bring more life into the stunning Lara Lakes Estate.”
Stage 2 of the parkland is currently under construction and will be complete in the next 12 to 24 months. When complete the Lara Lakes Estate Parkland will comprise a total of 6.7 hectares of land.
